Check what the price includes
Before accepting a quote, ask how waiting time, parking, extra stops and changes to the itinerary will be handled. Ask whether any applicable taxes and charges are included. A written breakdown makes it easier to compare offers for the same journey.
Airport collection needs a clear meeting plan
Share your flight number and terminal, then agree where you will meet and what happens if the flight is delayed. Heathrow lists meeting points for each terminal and explains that vehicles cannot wait on the terminal forecourt. Collection arrangements can therefore involve parking. Heathrow also applies a charge for entering its terminal drop off areas. Ask whether that charge is included in an airport transfer quote. Check the airport's current drop off guidance for the latest terms.
Close protection is an optional service
If you would like protection alongside the chauffeur, mention it at the enquiry stage. Its availability and cost need to be confirmed for your itinerary. Book through the proper route
